We’re always working on something meaningful. Most days we’re focused on outcomes for clients; every so often we also get space to test new ideas and techniques. Either way, our projects share the same backbone — evidence, clarity, and practical engineering.
Over the course of my career, I have been involved in more than 100 healthcare engineering engagements across Australia — spanning design, advisory, fault-finding, masterplanning, and independent review roles. These projects have ranged from detailed investigations of water and drainage systems to strategic assessments of infrastructure performance and compliance within complex healthcare environments.
Within New South Wales, I have worked on over 40 public hospital sites — representing around 20% of the state’s hospital network — including major tertiary facilities such as Westmead, Royal Prince Alfred, Liverpool, John Hunter, and Prince of Wales. My work has also extended across numerous private hospitals, including Sydney Adventist (“The San”), St George Private, Lake Macquarie Private, Calvary Riverina, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, and The George Centre.
In Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory, I have supported a range of significant healthcare developments such as The Wesley Hospital, St Stephen’s Hospital (Hervey Bay), Toowoomba Hospital, Canberra Hospital, and the Calvary Network (Bruce, John James, and Northside).
While I have not worked on every building within these sites, my involvement across so many engagements has provided valuable insights into the lifecycle performance of healthcare infrastructure — ensuring that water, drainage, and hydraulic systems operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with clinical and regulatory expectations.
